The "QWiki projects" are very simple desktop "portals" giving easy access to two of the great databases of knowledge hosted by the
WikiMedia Projects.
QWikipedia and
QWiktionary are two lightweight applications written in java swing which provide the search power of both of these great sites without having to open your browser. Up-to-date java and internet connection required.
Mobile developments of both are possibly in the works as well. Stay tuned...
